Every establishment is selected. The atmosphere is discovered before pushing the door. The professionalism of the team can be read in the quality of their listing, their photos, the reviews of those who have been there.

The Door does not list everything. The Door selects.
Every establishment on the platform has passed our editorial selection process. We verify public data, the consistency of information, legal existence, reputation. And when an establishment claims its listing, it commits, through a signed declaration, to the freedom of its staff, respect for consent and the safety of the venue.
What you will not find on The Door says as much as what you will find. An address that does not meet our criteria does not get in, and one that stops meeting them, on a report or during our regular listing updates, is removed. No blacklist, no public denunciation. Just absence.
Our conviction: when the right establishments are visible, the wrong ones become obsolete.
Sponsored boxes
A box marked "Sponsored" is a paid announcement from a venue or an event organiser. It sits above the list, never inside its ranking, and has no effect on the order of venues: no venue buys its place or its listing. We review every announcement before it goes live and may refuse a title or an image. It disappears on its end date.

The Door speaks to professionals who do their work well and deserve to be found. We dictate nothing. We do not moralise. We offer premium visibility within a digital ecosystem that excludes them.
Ranking on The Door is algorithmic: average rating, recent reviews, listing completeness, tenure. No payment influences position. That is our foundational promise.
Any establishment can request removal within 72 hours. We hold no one captive.
For visitors: the sorting is done beforehand
When you browse The Door, every address has already passed our selection: a public existence, a website of its own, and an activity that fits what we list. Venues that manage their own listing also commit to a signed declaration covering the freedom of their staff, consent and the legality of their activity.
A listing is not a certification: we do not visit venues or audit how they operate. Every report is looked into, and an address that no longer meets our criteria is removed.
You come to discover. We do the sorting beforehand.
